Transformation complete. After two years of NYAF being a NYCC sideshow, NYAF is no more. It’ll just be NYCC with some anime things if they feel like it. The ultimate “screw you anime fans” over here in the NYC area.

Well that kind of sucks? is it completely gone or are they just separating the events?

There will probably be some anime things still, but in name, NYAF will not exist anymore, not even as a sideshow for NYCC that was at least acknowledged.

Now that NYAF is gone…

I kind of implied that I would be going to NYAF during the past several months. But now, with NYAF basically gone, I will only go if one of these conditions are met:

  1. If I find people that will go: It is quite possible that I will find a group of people that will go with me, but from last year, I’ve learned to take that with a grain of salt. I will only go if
  2. A really good guest appears: Maybe Hanazawa Kana, or a Vocaloid concert, or any other seiyuu I really like.
  3. If I can get a DOG DAYS and/or Sword Art Online cosplay group going: Considering that I’m currently failing to find cosplayers that will do a DOG DAYS or Sword Art Online group, this is a long shot. I will say now that I am willing to provide some financial help (not a lot since I don’t have much money right now) for those that are willing to cosplay as Millhiore (for DOG DAYS) or Asuna (for SAO) and will fit the part. I don’t usually want to do that, but it seems that money is a big factor here.

The Devils finally win and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals! Am I worried about the Kings? Absolutely. But for now, time to celebrate!!!
